HIGHLIGHTS

Uncontaminated nature, crystal-clear water and desert bays

Croatia is a destination very closed to Italy, an amazing and colourful land, that will leave you amazed with the postcard’s landscapes. Here you could find crystal clear water and every type of beach that you want: sand, rocks or pebbles; you could venture yourself discovering the uncontaminated nature. The coast along the Adriatic See, perfect place to immerse yourself in the hundred shades of blue and relax yourself sunbathing!

The old city centres are full of Roman's and Medievalist ruins, offering you an unique experience for history lovers, or just for everyone, because you will be simply amazed by these beauties.

The natural heritage of Croatia is composed by some UNESCO sites and the natural shape of its land offer you always a different landscape, between jagged coasts, sand inlets, barren hills and mountains, everything surrounded by a crystal-clear sea bottom. The Croatian Coast is studded by 1200 islands, some are fully inhabited, but some are also completely desert or private. There are numerous routes around the islands where you could have trekking discovering unpolluted flora and fauna, but also there are a lot of snorkelling spots, where you could swim with colourful fishes and uncontaminated sea bottoms. Every island and coastline has its own features, but there is something in common like the beautiful sea, the wild nature and particular history lived by the inhabitants. Drop the anchor and set sail to Croatia!

We have to think about Croatia like a region that use tourism like the main sustenance, not only during summer period but also during fall and spring. This region knows how to leave yourself breathless, not only with the sea and beaches beauty, but also offering you some well-conserved archaeological sites, through which you will have the opportunity to discover the Roman past, in this 'land in the middle' of different European powers. In Zirje it is possible to enjoy the view all around from the old venetian fortress. Our suggest is to immerse yourself totally in the Natural Reservations and in a burning sunset over a desert bay.

We are real seamen, so we know that the best easy to discover this paradise is to set sail around with a sailing boat!

In the little venetian villages around the coastline it is possible to discover the true spirit of this population: a very simple spirit but ready to welcome you with a good glass of wine and a smile.  The Croatian cuisine will amaze you with numerous fish dishes: visit to a local market or a walk to the little harbours crowded by fishmen where you will have the opportunity to taste directly the quality of the fresh fish. There are also numerous traditional events around the coast villages or in the Croatian islets.

Set sail to the Kornati Park

If you love to spend time inside unpolluted nature or snorkelling in crystal clear sea bottom, the Kornati archipelago are a must-see of your sailing cruise. The Kornati, Croatian name given to this archipelago, are characterised by rocky coastline by the sea, scattered all around by almost 150 different islets.  The archipelago is part of the National Kornati Park, a protected site that is possible to visit only respecting the nature. The landscapes that you admire here will leave you breathless, in particular the natural shape of these rocky islets and for the trick of the light created by the crystal-clear water and the sunlight. If you want to spend your holiday far from the frenetic every-day life, in the Kornati archipelago you will find a real and unique earthly paradise; it is very easy to find yourselves alone here, on board of your own boat, admiring these marvellous natural landscapes. Snorkelling lovers could venture themselves in turquoise sea bottoms, swim with different species of colourful fishes and explore the marine flora underwater, in particular in Zlarin. Inside the Kornati National Park there are some discovering routes for trekking lovers.

A walk in Zara and a dive into the past in Dugi Otok (Long Island)

The central and meridional area of Croatia are the ones in which you will find more inhabited villages over the coastline, surrounded by natural parks with hundreds of shades of green and the crystal-clear water. Zara has Roman and Medieval traces and from the Venetian domination, unmissable the visit to the Roman Fore and Saint Anastasia Cathedral, historical monuments well conserved. Moving to the coast, during your route you could reach two contemporary art installations: the aim is to force the connection between this city and the sea; the marine Pipe Organ and the Greeting's sun, where you could admire the most unforgettable sunset offered by Croatia. Pag is the village where you notice more the Venetian shape, given by the reconstruction of a venetian architect: it is possible to admire the historical centre with buildings and churches, but we suggest you also the beaches around the coastline; here you could live your dreamy holiday, always surrounded by barren nature. Dugi Otok, the long island, is a magic place for who is in search of tranquillity and piece: the island is still living in an ancient epoque. Here you could immerse yourself in the easy life, spending your holiday in peace and far from the crowded touristic places. Enjoy some breath-taking views from Veli Rat Lighthouse, surrounded only by silence and wilderness.

The Venetian Croatia in Hvar and Dubrovnik

Also visiting Hvar will bring you back to the past: a wonderful walk through the historical centre’s little streets, discovering architectonical buildings, churches, castles and fortress that during the past where the main economic and political centres. Hvar is well-known for the entertainment possibilities, inside the crowded bars along the beach but also in the city centre. Dubrovnik is an old village exposed in the Adriatic Sea, which conserves more the ruins of a military past: the walls around the city entrance, San Giovanni fortress, churches and monasteries scattered around the surrounding islets. Some beaches here are the ideal destination both for families who want to enjoy tranquillity, and for young people in search for entertainment.
