Istria, Kornati Islands and Southern Croatia

Croatia for BeBlue is almost like a second home, we really know it like the back of our hands, from the most secret bay of the Kornati National Park to the most evocative little harbors or the most exclusive small restaurant in Hvar. Therefore, we have studied for you the most beautiful itineraries. Alone, as a couple, with friends or with your whole family, you can choose between amusing holidays immersed in nature and relaxing cruises where love for the sea is combined with land excursions. Tell us something about you, we will help you to find the best route for your holidays.

Venetian villages, transparent water and protected bays

Croatia, a stone's throw from Italy, is an incredibly colorful country, which will leave you pleasantly amazed. You will find crystal clear water and beaches for all tastes: pebbles, rocks, gravel or sand. In addition to the beaches, you can also discover completely unspoilt nature, admire the magnificent cities rich in Roman and medieval history, silent witnesses of the populations that ruled over this region. The coast of Croatia is dotted with almost 1,200 islands, the largest being Cres and Krk, while those of Dalmatia are very wild and solitary. Leaving Zadar, instead, you will meet an endless series of islands and islets, rich in Mediterranean vegetation, olive trees, coves and beautiful bays where you can enjoy the varied Croatian cuisine. If you are looking for a holiday dedicated to the sea, nature and history, this is the ideal place for you. Leave the moorings and set sail for Croatia!

1

Day 1

2

Day 2

Check-out

L’itinerario potrà subire variazioni in base alle condizioni meteorologiche, di sicurezza e alle valutazioni tecniche del Comandante dell’imbarcazione. Questo programma è da intendersi come indicativo e non vincolante.

Day 2

We set sail in the morning and head south towards the island of Zirje, the biggest and southernmost in the Sibenik Archipelago. Known since ancient times for its abundance of fish as well as olive and fig groves, it will enchant you with its natural beauties and suggestive docks in the bays of Velika, Mala and Koromacna. In the evening, you can moor on the south in the bay of Stupica and go ashore for dinner, to try the local cuisine and excellent wines.
3

Day 3

From Zirje, we head north towards the Kornati National Park: a natural reserve made up of 89 of the 152 islands constituting the Kornati Archipelago. A sailboat represents one of the few means of transport that can enter this natural paradise, among white jagged coasts washed by an unparalleled crystal clear sea. The islands are almost completely uninhabited, but you can find convenient docks for your lunch break and excellent restaurants where you can enjoy the best local cuisine with super fresh fish specialties in the evening.
4

Day 4

We proceed to the north within the spectacular Kornati Archipelago. The marine weather conditions are always optimal for a quiet sailing along the eastern coast of Otok Kornat, among enchanted and secluded bays where we can stop to have lunch, go snorkeling and spend the night in complete relax.
5

Day 5

North of Kornat you fill find the wonderful island of Otok Katina, connecting, as its latin name (“chain”) says, the Long Island of Dugi Otok to Kornat. Sailing in this area requires more attention given the presence of some shallow waters, but the bays on the south of the island will reward you with wonderful seabeds and safe docks where you can spend a peaceful night.
6

Day 6

After breakfast, we sail to the north until we reach Otok Zut, where we can stop to have lunch and swim in Hiljaca, Saruscica or Bizikovica bay. All three are special for their white pebble beaches and a wild and uncontaminated nature. In the evening, you can moor in the suggestive Luka Zut bay and, if you like to have dinner on the seaside, you can find a convenient mooring at the dock of the elegant Restaurant Festa.
7

Day 7

From Otok Zut, we proceed to the east in the direction of the islands of Vrgada, representing one of the most beautiful hidden gems on the Croatian coast. Closed off to mass tourism, this island is surrounded by a spectacular mini archipelago made of 15 islets to explore by boat, and still retains a timeless charm with the perfume of pine trees and beautiful beaches enclosed by olive trees, the perfect place to relax with baths and little shore excursions.

On Saturday afternoon, starting from 6 pm, you will be welcomed by your Beblue skipper at the Marina STC in Trogir to store your things in the cabin, prepare the shopping list and go shopping.

In the evening, the crew and the skipper have the possibility to get to know each other in front of a nice fish dinner in a typical Konoba in Trogir, before concluding the evening in one of the many bars in this coastal town.

2

Day 2

Once we are done with breakfast and the last shopping for the trip, we can finally set sail. We will head towards the north at the discovery of the islands of the Šibenik Archipelago: our first stop is the charming town of Primosten that we will reach in the afternoon, not before having anchored in some wild bay for lunch. Once arrived in Primosten, we will anchor in the ample bay in front of this fishing village: here, you can choose whether you prefer to have dinner on board and enjoy the sunset from the boat, or to go ashore with the tender and eat in one of the typical restaurants in the village.

3

Day 3

Monday morning will be dedicated to sunbathing, diving and relaxing while waiting for the mistral, the predominant wind in Dalmatia during this season. In the early afternoon, we will raise sail and, with the help of the mistral, we will travel for the 11 miles that separate Primosten from the Šibenik Islands. We will head for some uninhabited bays with no lights, to enjoy our dinner under a sky full of stars.

4

Day 4

After breakfast, we leave early to navigate towards the Kornati Islands, a wonderful and uncontaminated natural park that includes the biggest archipelago in the Mediterranean, with its 89 islands, islets and cliffs all worth discovering. You will have the opportunity to go snorkeling in those crystal clear waters surrounded by a lunar landscape, before going to the lofty sea cliff in the natural park Telasnika, south of Dugi Otok Island, to enjoy the sunset.

5

Day 5

On Wednesday we start sailing to the south, so that we can admire the Kornati Islands also from the open sea. The skipper will take you close to Kornat Island and Zut, to enjoy a priceless natural sight from the sea. After a break for lunch and a relaxing bath in the uncontaminated waters of the natural park, we will proceed to sea, heading for one of the many little coves of this Dalmatian strip of land. Zirje, Kaprje, Kakan and the other islands can offer our boat a safe and peaceful docking for the night. You only have to choose the spot you prefer!

6

Day 6

After an unavoidable post-breakfast morning swim, we weigh anchor and start sailing until we round the first islands of the Split Archipelago. We will have lunch on board and, in the early afternoon, raise sail to navigate peacefully for about two hours towards the Blue Lagoon, to the east of the island of Veli Drvenik, or in some cove around there. Another night at anchor is waiting for us, under a sky full of stars and planets and surrounded by nature.

7

Day 7

It’s already Friday and the return port is waiting for us, so we will dedicate this day to relax, sunbathing and swims, to take home with us some salt from the Adriatic Sea. There is time for another anchorage and to visit a new bay, where we can have lunch and enjoy the last sun rays before going back to the Marina, around 6 pm: a walk aroud to find the last souvernirs and a good dinner will accompany you in this last evening in Trogir.

Disembarkation will take place on the following morning after breakfast, at 10 am.
