Elafiti archipelago, Kolocep, the old town of Dubrovnik, the natural beauties in Mljet.
Dubrovnik is characterised by a typical Mediterranean weather with mild winters and sunny summers. The Mistral wind blows constantly, giving a peaceful breeze along the coastline, good weather and a cool, very similar to the one in open sea.
HOW TO ARRIVE
By plane: It is possible to reach Dubrovnik arriving to the city airport in Cilipi (DBV), flying with Croatia Airlines.
By ferry: The Jadrolinija ferries offer direct connection with Bari. From Ancora, you have to stop in Split and reach Dubrovnik by car (more or less 230 km of highway along the coast).
Available check-in from 1 pm in Gruž harbour and free time to visit the magic Dubrovnik city. Take your time to explore the town walls and plan the tour that you will have the possibility to live on the disembark day. Dinner and overnight stay in Dubrovnik.
After breakfast we set sail to the luxuriant Mljet island and its National Park. A peaceful oasis inside the uncontaminated nature, where it is possible to rent a bike to explore the park with the suggestive salted lakes and crystal-clear waters where to have a refreshing bath or sunbath. You could also rent a little rowboat to reach the Big Lake island, where there is an ancient and evocative abbey. Overnight stay in Polača/Pomena harbour.
During the morning we weigh anchor towards the little Šćedro islands, to enjoy the hundred’s shades blue and sunbath in a peaceful oasis. After the delicious lunch aboard, we navigate towards Hvar, the “sun island”, where to spend the afternoon in the namesake little town, losing yourself between shops and restaurant in the historical centre. Starting from the ancient renaissance cathedral, going through the most ancient European theatre established in 1612, till reaching the marvellous landscape of the Spanish fortress, from where you will enjoy a breath-taking sunset over the city and the coastline.
After breakfast we start navigating towards the marvellous Lumbarda bay where we stop for lunch. We set sail ahead Korčula island, birthplace of the big exploratory Marco Polo. Surrounded by the majestic medieval walls, Korkula will amaze you for its history and the ancient traditions that still are connected with the everyday life. Dinner ashore in one of the typical and picturesque “konobe” (taverns).
Leaving Korčula to continue our journey towards the picturesque village of Trstenik, in Pelješac peninsula. You will be amazed by the jagged coast covered by perfumed pine groves and the marvellous bays where we stop for a dive and lunch, before set sail towards Trstenik. Pelješac, apart from the natural beauties, is also famous for the wine productions: you will have the opportunity to visit the renowned wine cellar, where to taste some very good local wines.
During the morning, we leave the mooring to proceed towards Elafiti islands, a little archipelago in the western side of Dubrovnik, composed by marvellous islands. The archipelago includes the islands of Šipan, Lopud and Koločep (Kalamota). Here you will find a postcard landscape with turquoise water and golden beaches, ideal spot to have a walk, sunbath and have fun in a peaceful oasis. Overnight stay in Šipan.
From Šipan we set sail in the early morning towards the jewel city of Dubrovnik. Delicious breakfast aboard, observing the marvellous landscapes around our route, between some coffee and sweets cooked by our cook. Lunch aboard and arrival Dubrovnik in the early afternoon. Free time at your disposal to visit this marvellous town: there are some guided tours in English, or you could take the cable car to reach Srđ mountain from where you will enjoy a breath-taking landscape over the ancient town. Lose yourself in a walk around the city walls, in a magical atmosphere between the ancient buildings. Overnight in Gruž airport.
